    Our Collision Damage Policy covers accidental damage involving the client and the vehicle, helping reduce out-of-pocket costs and simplifying the claims process should something unexpected occur.

  • You must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver license to book. 25 years old or older with a valid driver license to rent using our insurance. Reach out for additional insurance options if you are under 25!

  • All customers are required to pay a car rental deposit.
    The deposit amount may vary depending on several factors, including:

    • The type of vehicle

    • The length of the rental period

    • Any additional services or custom arrangements

    Deposits are fully refundable, provided the vehicle is returned in accordance with the rental terms.
    We’re happy to clarify the deposit total at booking—just reach out!

  • In rare cases, deductions may apply if there are unexpected charges such as:

    • Fuel replacement

    • Unpaid tolls

    • Late return

    • Vehicle damage

    • Cleaning or smoking fees

    • Unauthorized drivers

    Rest assured, if everything checks out, your refund will be processed promptly—no action needed on your part.

  • We operate on a strict non-smoking policy across all Herrington Co. vehicles to ensure a clean and comfortable experience for every guest.

    A smoking fee will be charged if the vehicle is returned with evidence of smoking or related damage, including:

    • Cigarette, cigar, or vaping odor

    • Ash, burns, or residue inside the vehicle

    • Cannabis-related debris or scent

  • To ensure a smooth experience for all guests, we kindly ask that vehicles be returned in the same condition as when they were picked up.

    If a vehicle is returned with excessive damage, dirt, odor, or other impairments, a cleaning or service fee may be assessed after inspection.

  • All vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as provided at pick-up.

    For added convenience, we offer a Prepaid Refuel option:

    • Add this Extra during booking, and you may return the vehicle at any fuel level.

    • It saves time—especially helpful if you're on a tight schedule or heading straight to the airport.

    Running Late?
    If you couldn’t refuel and haven’t added the prepaid option, no worries. Simply return the vehicle—we’ll refuel it and bill the refill amount separately

  • Herrington Co. Car Rentals offers a 30-minute grace period for returns. If you're more than 30 minutes late:

    • You may be charged a late return fee

    • Additional charges could apply, such as hourly rates or even a full extra day, depending on how late the vehicle is returned

    • If the delay causes scheduling conflicts for the next renter, it may result in a penalty or cancellation flag

    🚨 Pro Tip:
    If you know you’ll be late, notify us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate and may be able to adjust your return time to avoid extra fees.

  • 📍 Designated Return Location Policy

    All vehicles must be returned to the location specified in your booking.


    Returning the vehicle to any other drop-off point or facility is not permitted unless explicitly approved by Herrington Co. Car Rentals in advance.

    Unauthorized returns may result in additional fees or a violation of the rental agreement.

  • 🚦 Parking & Traffic Violations Policy

    The renter is solely responsible for any parking citations or traffic violations incurred during their rental period.

    To avoid additional fees:

    • Customers must resolve any citations or violations promptly and directly with the issuing authority.

    • If a citation or violation is received by mail after the rental period, the renter will be responsible for the full amount plus an administrative fee for processing.
